What is premenstrual acne?A research done in 2004 proved that 63% of acne-prone womanhoods going through premenstrual breakouts. Matured women between the ages of 12 to 52 suffer from premenstrual acne or skin disorder. In some case women aged 33 suffer a lot during time of periods than younger women. This is quite normal as millions of women out there experience acne symptoms every month. The acne problem increases during the menstruation time or one week before the period of menstruation. Mostly it comes lessens when menstruation begins or 2 or3 days after menstruation. There is no clear evidence to show the exactly reason for its occurrence but it is well-known that it is somewhere related to the complex hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle. During menopausal stage, the hormonal instabilities induced which in turn decline the production of the ovaries and soon it will stop completely cause many changes in the human body. The symptoms of menopause include dryness, sleep disruption, irritation, hot flashes and general physical discomfort. Acne during menopause starts in perimenopause which can be quite disturbing.
