Lavender oil and acne:

Lavender oil consists of anti bacterial and soothing properties. It is used for the treatment of acne and even avoids possible breakouts. Acne vulgaris commonly called as acne is a commons skin disorder that is caused by changes in structures of skin consisting of hair follicles. Prior to the application, it must be diluted to reduce its strength. One can use lavender cleansers for treating acne and lavender oil for removing of pimples. Lavender oil is safe in acne treatment as it treats without side effects like: redness, irritation, itching and swelling.

There are varieties of ways in which lavender oil can be used.

• Lavender oil can be used for acne spot treatment. It is applied in diluted form.
• A mixture of lavender oil and tree tea treatment can be used to for the treatment of stubborn acne.
• One can simply add a few drops of this essential oil to the water while bathing for treating acne.
This should be repeated daily for one week.
• Using lavender oil on regular basis prevents the growth of bacteria and also prevents the congestion of the skin pores.
Useful in removing impurities that lie deep within the skin.
