Is acne laser treatment permanent?

Acne laser treatment has varied results on different people. Some people are able to fight the acne problem extremely effectively with the help of laser treatment. In cases where the body reacts well to the treatment observe that the acne disappears for a very long period of time. These results are mostly seen in cases where the cause of acne is due to excessive oil secretion from the sebaceous glands or due to lack of hygiene and the blockage of skin pores as a result of dust and dirt accumulation. However, in cases when the acne appears due to genetic or hormonal causes, it is a little difficult to treat the issue for a long time. In such cases the treatment may show results for a short duration but the acne may reappear in the long run. This happens because the laser treatment can treat superficial problems more effectively than deep rooted issues. It can be inferred that acne laser treatment does not have any standard results and the results may vary according to the cause of the problem. If the problem is due to external reason then the acne can be cured to a large extent but if the causes are internal ones then the laser treatment is not very effective. The acne laser treatment however does not have permanent results and there are chances of the acne coming back.
