How to Prevent Acne Rosacea

The severity of acne rosacea can be reduced by controlling the triggers that lead to this condition. It has been reported that sunlight is the major culprit of acne rosacea, so prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided as it can damage your skin tissues. Regular application of sunscreen cream and wearing hat will decrease skin exposure to sun. Stress management plays a vital role in controlling the outbreak of symptoms of rosacea. Regular exercise, relaxation techniques such as yoga, adequate sleep and intake of balanced diet helps in reducing rosacea. Avoid consumption of alcohol; coffee, very spicy and hot foods that triggers the acne rosacea symptoms. Try to eliminate these types of foods from your diet to reduce the appearance of rosacea.

Do not expose your skin to extremely cold and hot temperatures, so cover your skin with scarf around the areas of nose and face. Prevent the intake of potent cortisone medicine as it can increase the enlargement of small and thin blood vessels. Besides these there are certain skin care techniques such as: prevent rubbing or massaging your face as it can cause irritation of the skin; wash your face with the help of mild cleanser twice daily.
