Green Tea, Lavender and Rosewater for ExfoliatingOne of the things that need to be done for skin is to exfoliate and when acne is a problem it is important to exfoliate in a way that it will not irritate the face or cause an acne outbreak. The use of green tea, lavender or rosewater mixed with a small amount of alcohol is an exfoliate and astringent in one that is able to help remove blackheads and at the same time be gentle on the skin. These can be used without fear of irritation or without further outbreaks of acne, while removing the blackheads that are clogging the pores. After applying the exfoliating liquid then a mild scrub can be used to clean the blackheads from the skin. This can help to rid the face of not only blackheads but, renew and promote healthy skin. After the face should be rinsed with clean warm water, but not tepid as this can trap the facial scrub on the skin, rather than leave clean exfoliated skin and this can help in reducing acne. Exfoliating the skin assists in removing the dead skin cells that are a part of the problem with acne. This is because the dead skin cells can clog pores which then mixed with the over production of oil from the sebaceous glands can cause the pores to clog and result in blackheads.
