Difference between pimples and acneThere is no such big difference between acne and pimple. They both share the same semantics. Pimples are just one form of acne. It is what people think of when they hear the word acne. Acne belongs to a broader category. Acne not only includes pimples, but also other complications such as whiteheads, rosacea and blackheads. Acne is generally accompanied with multiple breakouts throughout the skin. On the other hand pimples are not multiple breakouts. Acne is a disorder and inflammation of the locked follicles and the sebaceous glands with numerous infections. On the other hand pimples are the lesions formed because of the undue production of sebum. It can be said that the fundamental cause of pimple is acne. Pimples are produced with similar reasons like that of acnes. Reasons like low immunity, hormonal disturbances and intake of fast foods. As there is no real big difference between pimple and acne, similar methods can be used for treating both of them. More care needs to be taken in case of severe acne. Both of them may leave permanent marks if not treated well on time. It can be said that acne is a much complicated situation as compared to the pimples.
