Can Acne be treated with
When creams and oral antibodies are used along with laser treatments, it increases the successful rate. Some of the combinations of therapies are discussed below: Retinoid and oral antibiotics Benzoyl peroxide and topical antibiotics If a particular antibiotic is overused or misused then it can make the P. acnes more resistant to that particular antibiotic. The skin become more resistant to bacteria, and treating the acne becomes difficult due ineffectiveness of the antibiotic in killing bacteria. Benzoyl peroxide on the other hand when combined with antibiotics, are less likely to show resistance towards bacteria. The conditions which are treated using this include leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, cancer and HIV/AIDS.
