Acne and stressSome scientific studies have shown that stress affects the skin in an adverse manner and causes the body to release oil that increases the chances of an appearance of acne on the skin. This does not imply that stress is a cause of acne but it sure is a trigger for the cause of acne. In some cases excessive stress may aggravate the acne problem. Another relation that acne and stress have is that both can get relief from the issues with various meditation and yoga exercises. The yoga and meditation can help flush out the toxins from the body thereby making the body healthier. When the body is healthy the stress levels come down automatically and when the body is toxin free it can remain free of acne also. Stress gives rise to acne because by high levels of stress the body becomes hyper active. Hyper activity makes the body’s sebaceous glands to secrete more sebum which causes acne. Once the acne problem is triggered by stress it may be easy to control the stress but it becomes complicated to control the acne and there might be chances that the problem goes on increasing. Hence stress should be treated in the early stages.
